Eligibility

All work entered must have been launched for the first time between 1 March 2009 and 30 April 2010.

Wednesday 23 June 2010: Press, Design and Cyber Lions Awards
Saturday 26 June 2010: Film, Film Craft and Titanium and Integrated Lions Awards

 

Entering step-by-step

You can enter all of your most creative and innovative pieces of brand communication online. The following guidelines should help you to complete your entry successfully.

A. Before entering

  1. Read through the rules and categories for the entry section you are planning to enter. The Cannes Lions entry sections are: Press Lions, Outdoor Lions, Film Lions, Radio Lions, Cyber Lions, Direct Lions, Promo & Activation Lions, Media Lions, Design Lions, PR Lions, Titanium and Integrated Lions, Film Craft Lions.
  2. Read the tips for entering for each section. They will give you useful information about making the best possible entry.
  3. Check the material requirements for each entry section as you will need to either upload appropriate files or send physical material.

 

B. Create your Cannes Lions Account

  1. Go here and choose 'Get a password'.
  2. Complete the details in the form and click 'Submit'.
  3. The password will be sent to you by email.

 

C. Submit your entry

  • Make sure you have as much information about the entry as possible, including  the title, advertiser, credits, compulsory questions etc. as possible BEFORE starting the entry process.
  • Use your password to login to the entry system, then select the type of entry you would like to make from the dropdown list.
  • Complete the entry form. Some entry types require you to complete more than one page.
  • You can upload your entry media online. Please make sure your files conform to our media requirements.
  • You can save incomplete entries at any stage and can choose to complete them later. However, for the entry to be submitted successfully into Cannes Lions you MUST eventually proceed through checkout and payment.
  • Once you have completed all your entry forms and uploaded the media if applicable, then you can proceed to payment by clicking the 'Make payment' button.
  • Please note: You can make more than one entry before paying; you do not need to pay for each entry one-by-one.

 

D. Payment

  • You can choose to pay by credit card or bank transfer.
  • If you choose to pay by credit card, you need to enter your card details and the payment will be processed through our system. Once your payment is successful you will see a confirmation page and we will send you an email containing your entry forms.
  • If you choose to pay by bank transfer, please enter your invoice details carefully. After submitting your information successfully, you will see a confirmation page and we will send you an email containing your entry forms and a proforma invoice.
  • You must make the bank payment AS SOON AS you receive your email confirmation using the bank details provided. Please email or fax us a copy of the bank transfer confirmation. Your payment MUST arrive in our offices as soon as possible otherwise your entries will not be processed.

 

E. Material

  • If your entry requires you to send us any material, please check the material requirements in Rules before sending anything to our office.
  • Make sure all material adheres to our specifications and sizes. We can’t accept files or boards in the wrong formats or dimensions.
  • Please use the labels provided in the entry forms that you receive with your confirmation email.
  • Please send your materials in good time before the closing date.
