
The one-week Roger Hatchuel Lions Academy is attended by international students studying advertising communications. Students learn about global trends, attend high-profile seminars, screenings and discussions, and are tutored by some of the world's leading industry figures.
The 2008 Programme will be released before the Festival commences.
Criteria
Students must:
1. Study advertising, communications or marketing with a view to working in the advertising industry.
2. Be fluent in speaking and understanding English.
3. Be 18 - 23 years of age.
Schedule
1. An opening session headed by the Dean and Tutor.
2. Daily training sessions with the Tutor, to guide the students through the discovery process.
3. Seminars and showcases presented by key industry figures.
4. Screenings of the world's best commercials.
5. Exhibitions of the most successful work across all forms of advertising.
6. Awards ceremonies, plus opening and closing galas.
7. A graduation party at which the class is given a name, the bureau president is elected and diplomas are given to graduates.
