Biography

Salman Amin

Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing
PepsiCo




Salman Amin was appointed Executive Vice President for PepsiCo Global Sales and Marketing in August, 2009. He is responsible for driving integrated sales and marketing strategies for PepsiCo’s global customers and leading its global marketing agenda for beverages and foods.

Salman was previously President of PepsiCo UK & Ireland, where he was responsible for snack foods (Walkers), breakfast cereals (Quaker), and fruit juices (Tropicana and Copella). Prior to this role, Salman0 was Chief Marketing Officer for PepsiCo International.  

Salman joined the company in 1995 as Vice President for Marketing in Pepsi-Cola International, and subsequently worked in various PepsiCo divisions, including Frito Lay International, as SVP Commercial Operations, and PepsiCo Corporate, as SVP New Platforms.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, Salman worked at Procter & Gamble for 10 years. At P&G, he held a variety of brand management positions working on hair care and paper, as well as food and beverage businesses in the US, Germany, Middle East and Asia.

Salman holds an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University.
