Cannes Lions is dedicated to nurturing the young talent of this industry: the students, young creatives, up-and-coming marketing talent, suits and young directors. The Festival does what it can to inspire, educate and grow the fresh blood that this industry builds on.

Answer the call WITH AKQA FUTURE LIONS
The Future Lions competition has officially reopened for 2012 submissions, again offering students the chance to get to Cannes, showcase their creative talent and make a name for themselves.
The Brief
Advertise a product from a brand in a way that couldn’t have been done five years ago, to an audience of your choosing.
The Reward
Future Lions is a long-running global competition for students. You could be one of five teams to grace the carpet at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June 2012. The winners and their work will be presented during a seminar at the Cannes Festival Palais. Alongside the individual awards, the school with the most shortlisted entries will be recognised as the Future Lions School of the Year.
What to do
Create work that makes AKQA envious. Submission entry has officially opened as of Friday 9 March 2012.
How to do it
Submit a PDF (up to 5MB) or a URL for a slideshow, video, MP3, etc. You could even send a PDF and URL. Just get your point across.
