Cannes Lions is dedicated to nurturing the young talent of this industry: the students, young creatives, up-and-coming marketing talent, suits and young directors. The Festival does what it can to inspire, educate and grow the fresh blood that this industry builds on.
get noticed on the international stage
Every year, five Young Lions Competitions are held during the Festival.The Competitions are open to advertising professionals aged 28 or under working in advertising or communications businesses. The participating teams of two people are selected through a pre-selection process in their own country, run by our local Cannes Lions representatives.
The winners of these pre-selections are sent to Cannes Lions in June and then participate in the Young Lions Competition there, where they compete against teams from all over the world. There are six competitions that take place during the Festival week. These are for Cyber, Film, Media, Print, Design and for Young Marketers.

Winning the Young Lions Competition is a hugely rewarding experience that can change your career forever. You're competing against the most talented creative young professionals from across the world and if you win, you'll get to go on stage at Cannes Lions and pick up a medal in front of the entire international communicationd industry. You'll also receive free registration and acccommodation for the following year's Festival.
Participate
If you would like to get involved in the competition, please contact your local Cannes Lions representative as soon as possible, as pre-selections are starting at the beginning of December. They might run as late as March, depending on your country.
