Over two days, more than 100 industry-leading speakers take to three different stages to share their knowledge. Makers put their groundbreaking products into the hands of the creatively curious. Two dedicated awards celebrate pioneering tech innovation and data-driven creativity, judged by the industry’s most respected professionals. And a host of networking events make meeting, mingling and sharing ideas with new contacts easier than ever.

This year, there are more ways than ever for start-ups to be involved with Lions Innovation. Whether it's the R/GA Start Up Academy, the new Discovery Zone, meet ups, or by entering the Innovation Lion, it's easy to showcase your company.

The NEW Discovery Zone

The Discovery Zone will give 100 start-ups the chance to meet the 15,000 delegates of Cannes Lions and Lions Innovation – opening up new partners, new technologies and new creative opportunities. A dedicated Lions Innovation Meet-up networking programme will make sure you go home with a long list of new contacts.

Discovery Zone at Lions Innovation

The Festival invites applications from start-ups in the creative communications space to get access to the Discovery Zone at Lions Innovation. This is the place for promising new businesses to find the exposure, mentoring, networking and learning opportunities they need to bring their ideas to life, pitch to potential partners and get their next round of funding.

The Awards

Two specialist Lions shine the spotlight on data and tech-enabled creative work that’s leading the way in branded communications. 
  • Creative Data Creative Data Lions Showcase creative work where the use, interpretation, analysis or application of data has been instrumental to the idea.
  • Innovation Lions Innovation Lions Honour brand aligned ideas and business solutions which demonstrate the relationship between a big idea and radical tech, tools, models and platforms. 

The Juries

The Innovation Lions jury brings together professionals from across the start-up landscape, from agency innovation officers and technologists to senior brand marketers and venture capitalists. 

The Creative Data Lions jury includes the industry’s most senior data, strategy and analytics specialists and its most awarded creatives. It’s a melting pot of professionals who know how powerful data is in driving creativity.
