Cannes Lions has been training the creative industry since 1995. In that time The Cannes Lions School has evolved from a one-off competition for rising creative stars, to a week-long event that takes in extensive and varied learning programmes and competitions designed to cater to multiple disciplines and career stages.

Open to any professional under 30, each Academy exposes high-potential talent to a career-changing learning experience, combining classroom sessions with world-class speakers, tutored by industry legends. Each academy agenda is carefully curated to enable you to return to your company inspired, braver and take your career to the next level.
The location for all the classrooms right in the heart of the festival action. The 2017 campus is much improved: classrooms are bigger, noise pollution is minimised and sessions also taking place on the terrace overlooking the Cannes Lions Beach. Featuring delicious food, mobile charging stations and installations to interact with, this is a great base to explore the Festival from.
With academies made up of agency and clients from across the world, you have the chance to meet and make connections with people of varied nationalities, skillsets and disciplines. On Sunday 18 June, we kick off with a joint academy presentation called Creativity Matters, followed by drinks. At the end of each day, all academies will hear a thought leadership session that builds their personal brand followed by some drinks
The academies catapult participants straight into the industry and bring them face to face with their heroes. Each year, industry legends, award-winning writers, designers, entrepreneurs and the Festival’s main-stage speakers attend classroom sessions, pushing you to your creative limits, taking part in Q&As and offering up hard-earned advice.
When the week is out, academy delegates return home more confident, more effective and better equipped to make better business decisions. Everyone who has taken part will have honed their craft, improved their knowledge base, learnt from the best, made new contacts, set new career goals and become a champion of creativity.
