Young Lions Academies

The Academies that take place at Cannes Lions mould rising stars from across the world into the next generation of creative leaders. Open to any professional under 30, each five-day Academy exposes high-potential talent to a career-changing learning experience, combining classroom sessions with practicals, meet ups with industry legends and a hand-picked selection of Festival talks.


Account Leadership

The Account Leadership Academy champions the art of account management, with a curriculum designed to equip future leaders with the tools they need to lead groundbreaking creativity for their clients.


For creatives with a few years’ experience under their belts and wondering what’s next, this course provides intimate access to the greatest industry minds and insights into its most awarded creative work.


This course for young professionals working for client marketer companies addresses the importance of creativity in communications and provides a bigger picture of a marketer’s role.

A strong portfolio is crucial for securing your first break in the competitive creative industry. To help up-and-comers out, these review sessions give students the chance to talk through their book with an industry expert and get tips for showing off their talent to maximum effect.

One to Ones  

These sessions match students with an experienced Cannes Lions jury member for an individual, hour-long mentoring session. Learn how to get ahead in the industry from people who’ve already made it and take your first steps in forming a professional network.
