The 12th annual Future Lions student competition,
a collaborative project between Cannes Lions and AKQA has opened for
Open to students from around the world and completely free
to enter, the Future Lions competition challenges young creatives to connect an
audience of their choosing to a product or service from a global brand in a way
that wasn’t possible three years ago.
Five winning teams will be granted full access to the
Festival, and will be honoured with a prestigious Future Lions trophy.
Alongside the individual awards, the school with the highest number of
shortlisted entries will be recognised as the Future Lions “School of the Year”.
Entries are judged by AKQA’s Future Lions Council, which
includes: Rachel Barek, Brendan DiBona, Claudia Cristovao, Eric Cruz, Duan
Evans, Anna-Louise Gladwell, Ginny Golden, Andy Hood, Michelle Lassman, Peter
Lund, Diego Machado, Gavin McLeod, Hugo Viega and Ian Wharton.
The Future Lions competition is open to current students or
anyone who has graduated within the last six months. More information can be
