Lions Health will feature everyone from major pharma brands to creative legends and even a sci-fi artist on stage this year.
The programme features Professor Shafi Ahmed from The Royal London and St Bartholomew’s. He hit the headlines early in 2016 when he performed the world’s first virtual reality operation and again later in the year when he used Snapchat to record and teach surgery to a global audience that exceeded 54 million.
Also making an appearance on stage this year at Lions Health is Lucy McRae, a science fiction artist who has been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts, the Centre Pompidou and the Venice Biennale and was recently named by Fast Company as one of 50 designers shaping the future.
In addition, the first wave of speakers confirmed to talk at the two-day event dedicated to life-changing creativity includes both Dana Grandsman and Ed Harnaga from Pfizer, as well as experts from United Healthcare and Health Unlimited.
Rounding off this first batch of speakers are the legendary creative leader Jean-Marie Dru, the Chairman of TBWA who developed the concept of disruptive advertising, and Jeremy Perrott, the Global Chief Creative Officer who helped McCann Health become Health Network of the Year in 2016.
The full list of speakers that have been confirmed across Lions Health, Lions Innovation, Lions Entertainment and Cannes Lions can be viewed here.
