There are two Lions recognising life-changing creativity awarded at Lions Health and one dedicated to finding the next big thing in young creative talent.
The Health & Wellness Lions celebrate consumer product communications, such as over-the-counter medicines, applications or devices. The Pharma Lions are for communications aimed at healthcare professionals, including prescription drugs, vaccines and biotechnology.
The Young Lions Health Award asks young creatives to answer a live brief set UNICEF.

An in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks is needed to provide context for work entered in both the Pharma and Health & Wellness Lions.
Judges in these categories are all award-winning senior healthcare specialists, usually from dedicated healthcare agencies or divisions. They are used to negotiating this communications environment and are all strong advocates for boundary-breaking creativity.
In Lions Health’s second year, nearly 90 campaigns from health, wellness and pharma communications collected trophies. Every winner is available to review with complete credits in The Cannes Lions Archive, but here’s a selection of the work that came away with the top prizes at the Festival.
