If you're planning to come to Cannes during the Festival but don’t have any kind of delegate pass, you're going to need to register for Hotel Access. Hotel Access will be required to enter the main bars and restaurants of the big 'palace' hotels on the Croisette during the working day, that is between 8am and 6pm.
Networking is a special part of the Cannes Lions experience. It's important that official delegates can find space for meetings during the Festival in the hotels close to the Palais, so in line with most of the other major events that happen in the City of Cannes, this year we’ll be asking everybody who uses these premium networking spaces to register their details with us.
If you don't have any kind of Cannes Lions Festival badge, you can register for your Hotel Access right now using the link below. The same pass gets you into the Majestic, the JW Marriott, the Carlton, the Grand and the Martinez. You only need it between 8am and 6pm and once you're set up, the same unique barcode will work for the entire week. There is no charge for Hotel Access this year.
Your Hotel Access lives on your phone and you just need to show it each time you arrive at the hotel entrance. Remember, it's only required if you want to enter a bar before 6pm, so if you're more of a night owl and don't show your face on the Carlton terrace until the evening, you won't need one.
Obviously, if you're staying in the hotel or you've got any kind of official Festival badge because you're a delegate, juror, speaker, student, sponsor, competitor - you don't need to register for Hotel Access.
