Expanding your network is always an inevitable part of the Festival, but this year we’re introducing new ways to make meeting your professional matches among the thousands of people touching down in Cannes easier than ever.
Cannes Lions and Accenture Interactive have joined forces to launch Connected Creativity, a platform that combines digital and real-world networking to help you match, meet and share what you know with others.
As part of the platform, networking tool Braindating lets you connect with like-minded people and book one-to-one sessions based on shared passions and knowledge, regardless of your career level.
All you have to do is log in to Braindating via the Cannes Lions App and create a profile that lets others know what experience you have to ‘Offer’ and what knowledge you want to ‘Request’. Once you’ve found your match, just book a 'Braindate' and head to the Connections Beach to meet in person, where onsite ‘Matchmakers’ will be on-hand to help between 10:00–15:00 daily.
And if you’ve had enough of flashing your business card, the new Connect Bands have you covered. A piece of wearable tech that makes digital data exchange easy, you simply pick one up, register and start swapping contact details by ‘bumping bands’ with other wearers before downloading all of your new contact details via the Connect Band app.
