YOUNG LIONS MEDIA COMPETITION

The Young Lions Media Competition challenges the brightest minds working in media agencies to demonstrate their strategic thinking and innovative approaches to solving a marketing challenge.

THE CHALLENGE

Successful media strategies will need to demonstrate how they create 'Consumer Engagement' versus 'Simple Persuasion', they'll exploit the value of emerging media and unearth consumer insights that drive effective communication strategies.

The strategic idea must be demonstrated clearly across the selected media channels and the challenge will be creating the most compelling communications strategy.

THE PRIZE

The Young Lions Media Competition Jury, made up of the shortlisting jury from Cannes Lions, will judge the work and crown a Bronze, Silver and Gold winner at a live winner's announcement.

The winners will be celebrated at the Cannes Lions Award show later that week with Gold winners collecting their award on stage.

WHO IS IT FOR?

To take part in the Young Lions Competition teams must be under 30 - born on or after 22/06/1987 and a working professional in the country they are representing. Proof of age will be required to enter the competition.

HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?

To compete at Cannes Lions teams must first win their local Young Lions Competitions. You can find out which competitions are running in your country and who to contact here:
