Aba Blankson is Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of the NAACP, where she leads bold strategies that position the organisation for lasting cultural and civic impact. With over 25 years of experience, she brings clarity, courage and vision to every campaign – driving a modern brand evolution rooted in purpose and legacy. Under her leadership, the NAACP has launched high-impact advocacy campaigns, redefined its digital voice and expanded its global presence. In 2024, she led the NAACP’s debut at Cannes Lions and served as a WARC Juror, spotlighting storytelling as a force for justice.

Aba was named Woman of the Year by Washington Women in Public Relations in 2024 and was featured on the ColorComm28 list in 2021. A sought-after speaker, she regularly shares insights on equity and strategic communications in outlets including Ad Age, Forbes, Fast Company and The New York Times.
