Chris Verrijdt is Head of Communications & Community Impact at B Lab Europe, where he helps grow and strengthen the B Corp movement across Europe. An award-winning communicator, Chris bridges boardroom strategy with purpose-led engagement to shift narratives, challenge norms and turn cultural insight into collective action. With more than 20 years of experience across Africa and Europe, he has worked in agencies, start-ups, non-profits and multinational organisations.

Throughout his career, Chris has used communications, creativity, and community-building as tools for connection and change: from culture-jamming with South African anti-brand activists Laugh It Off to helping establish Africa’s first LGBTQI+ rugby club, the Jozi Cats, to advancing purpose-driven business through B Lab’s global community.

Guided by the philosophy of Ubuntu, “I am because we are”, Chris believes meaningful progress is built collectively through trust, representation and human connection.
