Biography
Courtney is the CMO at Kickstarter, overseeing all aspects of marketing strategy, including product and lifecycle marketing, creative, communications, content, social, experiential, partnerships, and sponsorships. She also leads sales and community outreach strategies to foster an engaged, empowered community on the platform.
With over two decades of experience across tech, media, and entertainment, Courtney has worked with global brands. Before Kickstarter, she served as Twitter’s Global Head of Brand, managing a team across brand strategy, campaigns, talent brand, and emerging markets. Prior to that, she was Head of Creative at Audible, where she launched two high-growth subscription services—Audible Escape and Audible for Business.
Courtney has also held key roles at L'Oreal, WarnerMedia, and Madison Square Garden Company. She holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and studied Disruptive Strategy at Harvard Business School.
