Biography

Cristina Diezhandino is the Chief Marketing Officer at Diageo, overseeing marketing, innovation and digital transformation for iconic brands such as Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Don Julio and Smirnoff.

Since joining Diageo nearly two decades ago, she has held key leadership roles across global markets, including Global Category Director for Scotch and General Manager for Central America and the Caribbean and Marketing.

Appointed CMO and Executive Board Member in 2020, Cristina champions “creativity with precision”, leveraging data and technology to drive brand relevance and growth. She is committed to placing Diageo’s brands at the center of culture while maximising marketing effectiveness.

Recognized among Forbes’ Most Influential and Entrepreneurial CMOs, Cristina was named Global Marketer of the Year (WFA, 2022) and Inspirational Marketing Leader of the Year (Marketing Society, 2023).
