Biography
David Kolbusz is a Canadian creative leader and writer who has had a prolific career alternating between top agencies in the US and the UK and creating globally renowned work for brands including Etsy, Ocean Spray, Amazon, Axe and The Guardian. He is currently Chief Creative Officer at New York shop Orchard Creative, which was recently shortlisted for Campaign US’s Independent Agency of the Year. Previously, he was Chief Creative Officer at Droga5 London, during which time it was named Campaign UK’s Independent Agency of the Year. Prior to that he was Executive Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy New York and Deputy Executive Creative Director at BBH London. In his spare time (of which he has very little), David writes and directs through Biscuit Filmworks. In 2022, he wrote the short Claudio’s Song, directed by Andreas Nilsson, which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
