Biography
Diego, a Brazilian creative entrepreneur, believes that extraordinary work comes from a harmonious mind. His career began in education, radio, design, and web development, leading to the founding of AKQA São Paulo in 2014. At 26, he combined naivety and curiosity to build one of the fastest-growing and happiest offices, recognized by WPP.
Working with AKQA globally, Diego has collaborated with iconic brands like Nike, TikTok, Netflix, and Google, and artists such as Usher, Lady Gaga, and Elton John. At AKQA, he promotes a human and community-oriented approach, inviting creatives from various fields to co-create with AKQA employees and clients.
Passionate about nurturing new talent, Diego supports initiatives like Soma+, helping over 3000 students without university opportunities. His work has earned many awards, including multiple Cannes Lions Grand Prix, D&AD Yellow Pencils, Grand Clios, and One Shows. Diego's achievements are celebrated by Rolling Stone, the Grammy Awards, Wired, Fast Company, Google, The Drum, Time Magazine, and UNICEF.
