Biography
Diego Pomareda is a Peruvian international marketeer with over a decade of experience driving cultural relevance and business growth for global and iconic local brands through music and sports sponsorships. Known for his transformative, people-first approach, he specialises in connecting brands with culture in meaningful and commercially effective ways.
Diego is one of the most awarded marketeers in Colombia, having more than 15 recognised projects and 10 Cannes Lions Awards, all related to bringing entertainment where it hasn’t been, from ‘Corona Island’ and Budweiser’s ‘WHTSPP Records’ to Aguila’s ‘Unofficial Goals’ and ‘Six-Pack Antenna’.
Diego was named Best Marketer Under 30 in LATAM by AdLatina in 2020 and won Best Colombian Marketer at El Dorado Festival (Representative of Cannes Lions) in 2021 and 2022.
He holds a degree in Economics from Universidad de Lima and continuously advances his education through executive programmes at US educational institutions Booth, Columbia, and Stanford.
