Biography
Felipe Silva is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of GANA, a pioneering Brazilian advertising agency with an entirely Black team. Born and raised in the Santo Inácio favela in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, he has 15 years of experience as a copywriter and creative director, earning recognition at Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, and El Ojo.
In 2021, he founded GANA, a 100% independent agency harnessing the creative power of Black and peripheral communities in Brazil. Under his leadership, GANA secured Guaraná Kuat (Coca-Cola) and helped launch the hit podcast "Mano a Mano" with Mano Brown.
Felipe is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in advertising. He founded Escola Rua, Brazil’s first free advertising school for low-income youth. His work has earned him "Creative Director of the Year" by PropMark and a Caboré Award nomination. He has also served on juries for The One Show and Cannes Lions.
