Biography
Felipe Simi was named the most admired advertising professional in Brazil in 2023 by consultancy firm Scopen. A Cannes Lions Jury member in 2019, Simi has won 12 Lions, including Golds and a Glass Lion, and was also shortlisted for Titanium in 2024. In 2020, he was recognised by Wired as one of the 50 most creative people in Brazil and received the Game Changer award from Meio e Mensagem for his impact on the industry.
He believes diversity and collaboration are essential pillars of creativity – values that led him to found the independent agency Soko in 2016, which rose to become one of Brazil’s top 3 most creative agencies and was acquired by Accenture Song. Simi is also a leading LGBT+ advocate, a TED speaker and the former President of the Diversity Observatory in Advertising – a coalition of 30 agencies promoting inclusion in the industry.
