Biography
Gabriel Schmitt is a culture-shaping creative executive with 20 years of experience leading advertising agencies in New York, Chicago and São Paulo. His teams have earned top honours at prestigious industry awards, including two Emmys, 82 Cannes Lions, 44 Gold Pencils at The One Show, five Yellow D&AD Pencils and numerous Effies.
As Chief Creative Officer at Grey, Gabriel led the agency in launching AB InBev’s biggest global campaign for Corona Cero, the first beer brand to partner with the Olympics. Since his appointment in 2023, his leadership has driven effective campaigns and business growth for clients like Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Red Bull and Volvo.
Prior to Grey, Gabriel served as Co-Chief Creative Officer at FCB New York, where he led the agency’s creative resurgence with campaigns like ‘Whopper Detour’ and ‘Michelob Ultra Courtside’, helping FCB earn Cannes Lions North America Network of the Year for five consecutive years.
