Jacques Burger is a Founding Partner and Group CEO of The Up&Up Group (formerly M&C Saatchi Group South Africa).

Under his leadership, the Group has grown to become one of the largest independent communications groups on the African continent, comprising seven creative companies, operating in more than 20 markets. Jacques is deeply engaged with the Group’s clients and their businesses, which include, MTN – the biggest telco in Africa – and Standard Bank, the largest bank on the continent, as well as brands from Heineken to PepsiCo.

He has more than 25 years’ experience leading communications solutions globally for blue chip brands across a number of markets, including Australia, where he was voted one of the 40 most influential marketing specialists under the age of 40 (AdNews, 2009).

Jacques frequently delivers guest lectures at globally recognised universities and is a regularly published thought leader in prominent business and marketing publications.
