Biography

GRAMMY®, Ivor Novello, and Mercury Prize-winning artist James Blake has established himself as a singular voice in modern music. Since his 2011 critically acclaimed self-titled debut, Blake has pushed artistic boundaries. His follow-up Overgrown earned a Mercury Prize and showcased collaborations with legends like Brian Eno and RZA. Subsequent albums The Colour in Anything, Assume Form, Friends That Break Your Heart, and Playing Robots Into Heaven further solidified his acclaim.

Beyond his solo work, Blake has contributed to iconic albums by Beyoncé, Dave, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Travis Scott and more. In 2024, he collaborated with Lil Yachty on Bad Cameo and independently released his CMYK 002 - Let Her Know EP. An advocate for artist autonomy, he now champions equitable industry models via Indify and Vault – empowering musicians with creative freedom and direct fan connection.
