Biography

James Price is a production designer based in England. In March of 2024, James and Shona Heath took home an Academy Award and BAFTA for Best Production Design for their work on Yorgos Lanthimos’ and Searchlight Pictures, 'Poor Things', bringing to life the novel by Alasdair Grey.

James most recently designed 'Iron Claw', reuniting with Sean Durkin following their work together on 'The Nest'. Additionally, he designed James Watkins’ 'The Ipcress File', a six-part TV mini-series, based on Len Deighton’s 1962 cold war novel. James continued his collaboration with Watkins in 2023 on the feature film 'Speak No Evil' for Blumhouse.

Previously, James was an Art Director working on diverse projects such as 'Bullet Boy', 'Grow Your Own', 'Southcliffe', 'Kill Your Friends', 'Paddington 2', and 'Trust'.
