Kawal’s jointly built an agency that consistently ranks No 1 in Asia on effectiveness and among the top 3 globally. Without participating in a traditional ‘pitch’ – for more than a decade now.

He has won an IPA Gold for Cadbury, the only IPA Gold ever for India. He’s also been an IPA judge.

Kawal’s been a speaker at Cannes Lions multiple times.

He reckons that AI that can do many things, and a few brilliantly, but it can’t do two: ask the right questions and influence a nervous client. He believes that people can be made uncomfortable with status quo through a well-presented idea. He also believes that, in the end, every client gets the work they deserve – and not many are showing the ambition and skill to deserve better.

He’s left-handed and aspires to be right-hearted.
