Before joining RedBird, Kayla spent two decades as an award-winning journalist in the United States and overseas. She most recently served as a senior White House correspondent and anchor for CNN, covering politics and policy through in-depth reporting and high-profile interviews. She has covered the American presidency from five continents and was part of the CNN team awarded an Emmy for breaking news coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.

Prior to CNN, Kayla spent 13 years at CNBC, covering the White House, Wall Street, and Silicon Valley, while contributing to programming across NBC Universal. She began her career as a print reporter at the Financial Times Group in London, Bloomberg News in New York, and the Associated Press in Brussels.
