Lili Jiang
Executive Creative Director
Cheil Hong Kong
Biography
“Which city do you prefer more, Shanghai or Hong Kong?” For Lili, it’s an impossible choice. One is her beloved hometown, where she launched her advertising career. The other is where she founded her family. Both cities shaped her story.
Born in Shanghai, China, Lili spent five years as a Mandarin copywriter with DDB Shanghai before moving to Hong Kong. She worked with Leo Burnett on brands like Rejoice, Whisper, Nin Jiom, and Hang Seng Bank. In late 2015, she joined Cheil Hong Kong, managing blue-chip clients including Swire Property, Samsung, Samsonite, MTR, and Save The Children.
Her work has been recognised at major global award shows including Cannes Lions, D&AD, the One Show, CLIO, ADFEST, and Spikes Asia. Her JBL ‘Block Out The Chaos’ and Chupa Chups ‘A Sweet Escape’ campaigns helped make Cheil Hong Kong the #3 most awarded agency in Asia, while she ranked #4 hottest creative in Asia.
Lili has served as Jury member at prestigious shows including D&AD Awards, Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, and the One Show.
Her favourite quote is by Maya Angelou: “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
