Biography
Margaret Johnson leads GS&P’s creative department as the agency’s first Chief Creative Officer.
Under her leadership, GS&P was named one of the Most Innovative Companies in the World and the Most Innovative Ad Agency of the Year by Fast Company, and Campaign magazine named GS&P Agency of the Year. Over the years, she has been named Ad Age's Executive of the Year and identified as one of the industry’s top chief creative officers by Ad Age, Forbes, Business Insider, Adweek and The Drum.
Margaret’s experience with women’s sports includes her award-winning work on Nike Women early in her 27-year career at GS&P and, most recently, launching Bay FC, the Bay Area’s first professional women’s soccer team, in 2023.
Margaret has appeared on the Cannes Lions stage with OpenAI (2023), Megan Thee Stallion (2022) and Lauren Greenfield (2017) and served as President of the Film Lions in 2019.
