Melanie Tobal is a creative entrepreneur and DEI specialist working at the intersection of innovation, culture and inclusion in the communication industry. She is the Founder and President of Publicitarias, the first NGO connecting and supporting women and LGBTQ+ professionals across the LATAM advertising ecosystem.

Since founding Publicitarias in 2017, she has driven gender perspective and diversity initiatives across Ibero-American markets, helping companies and professionals develop bold, inclusive ideas that create real cultural impact – and business results. Through consulting, workshops and strategic advising, she supports teams in building more equitable and human-centred creative processes.

Melanie is also Head of Brand & Communications at XOUL, an AI-powered parenting companion that helps families understand children’s and adolescents’ digital wellbeing, emotions and online experiences, combining technology, mental health expertise and ethical design.

She is a sought-after speaker and a mum of two.
