Mia Rafowitz is a New York City-based creative director and copywriter in the US with over a decade of experience crafting campaigns that span industry and medium. Her work has been internationally awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, the One Show, the Webbys, AICP and the Ciclope Awards, along with being featured at SXSW, Sundance and as a permanent fixture in the MoMa archives. In 2021, she was named a Next Creative Leader by the One Show, and in 2024 she sat on the jury for the D&AD Writing for Advertising Awards.

Together with Professor Meryl Blau, Rafowitz co-developed the G.R.I.T. Factor, a first-of-its-kind conceptual framework for creative endurance that defines what it actually takes to have staying power in an industry designed to give you an expiration date.
