​Michael Lee is the Group Chief Strategy Officer at VCCP. Since joining in 2003, he has played a major role in its dramatic growth to become one of the world’s most successful independent networks, creating multiple award-winning campaigns for brands including easyJet, comparethemarket and O2.

In January 2023, he was ranked the UK ad industry’s No 1 strategist by Campaign and has won numerous creative and effectiveness awards, including the European Effie Grand Prix and the Marketing Society’s Long Term Effectiveness Award. He oversees a team of over 70 strategists across eight offices worldwide, with a diverse range of skill sets ranging from brand strategy to data analytics and performance marketing.

In October 2021, Michael co-founded VCCP Stoke Academy with a commitment to increase awareness, create work experience opportunities and generate jobs in the creative industry in a part of the UK where few opportunities exist for young adults.
