Biography
With an academic background in science and technology, Naoki joined Dentsu as a copywriter. His creative talent quickly transcended boundaries, combining design, technology, and traditional advertising to deliver media-neutral solutions, including TV commercials, digital design, AI systems, and even androids.
As Creative Director of Dentsu Lab Tokyo, Naoki also leads R&D, experimenting with creative ideas and technology. His work has earned numerous awards at D&AD, Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Adfest, and more, in categories like Film, Digital, Mobile, Design, Media, Entertainment, and Innovation.
In 2021, Naoki contributed to two of the most iconic global events—the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games—as a creative director for the Sports Presentation project and the Paralympic Games' Opening Ceremony. This year, he became the first Japanese recipient of the international THEA Catalyst Award for entertainment content, further solidifying his influence in the industry.
