Neo Mashigo is the Chief Creative Officer of The Up&Up Group South Africa (formerly M&C Saatchi Group SA). Before joining the Group in 2017, he held Executive Creative Director roles at two of South Africa’s leading agencies, Ogilvy Johannesburg and FCB Johannesburg.

A passionate advocate for African creativity, Neo is the former Chairperson of Creative Circle South Africa, where he championed creativity as a powerful business tool. He was recognised as Industry Leader of the Year at the Financial Mail AdFocus Awards in 2019.

He is also the Co-Founder of I See A Different You, a Soweto-born creative collective dedicated to reshaping global perceptions of Africa through authentic storytelling.

Neo’s work has earned numerous local and international accolades, including a Cannes Lions Grand Prix and two Loerie Awards Grands Prix. He is a former Chairman of The Loerie Awards and continues to serve on its board.
