Niccolò Maisto is the CEO of ESL FACEIT Group, the world’s leading esports and video game entertainment company. He co-founded FACEIT in 2012, serving as CEO until its acquisition by Savvy Games Group, backed by the Public Investment Fund in 2022, which created ESL FACEIT Group in the biggest deal in esports history. He is also co-founder of Black Duck, which applies predictive modelling to optimize football club management and owns 50% of Ravenna FC, a Lega Pro club in Italy where these models are actively deployed. Niccolò invests in early-stage technology companies as General Partner of Insider Ventures. He is also a member of the Italian board of the international non-profit network Endeavor Global. Previously, he worked at Lehman Brothers and Permira. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a bachelor’s from Bocconi University.
