Biography

Preeti Srivastav is a sustainability leader, driving positive environmental & social change to create a better future.

Preeti has been redefining and integrating sustainability across the strategic pillars of planet, people, profit, portfolio, purpose in various geographies for major corporations, institutions and non-profits.

As the Group Head of Sustainability for Asahi, a global food & beverage company with $19B in annual revenues; Preeti leads the development and implementation of the global sustainability strategy across more than 90 export markets including countries of production and more than 22 brands including Asahi Super Dry, Grolsch, Peroni and Pilsner Urquell. She is part of the executive leadership team and during her tenure, Asahi has won multiple sustainability awards.

She serves as the technical expert advisor on climate change for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the European Commission. An active thought leader, she has been recognized for her sustainability work and expertise through awards and nominations.

Prior to Asahi, Preeti consulted on sustainability for corporations and governments as a director at Ecofys, a Nobel Prize winning consultancy. She has worked with climate NGOs including Greenpeace and We Mean Business, the climate coalition which drove the historic Paris Agreement at COP21.

Preeti served on the advisory committee for the Climate Group’s RE100 and is currently the Co-chair of the World Federation of Advertisers’ Planet Pledge & a board member of Galvanizing the Groundswell of Climate Actions.
