Biography

Richard Dickson is President and CEO of Gap Inc., leading its $15 billion brand portfolio including Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta, with a global team of over 80,000.

Dickson originally joined Gap Inc. as a Board Director in 2022, while still in his previous role as President and COO of Mattel. At Mattel, Dickson led a portfolio of global brands, overseeing innovation strategy, design and development, brand marketing and franchise management. Under his leadership, the company launched the Mattel Playbook, a brand-building approach instrumental in the growth of its most powerful brands, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price.
