Biography
Shannon’s career in brand management has spanned more than 20 years across multiple industries and business sectors, including leadership roles in retail, franchise, and digital teams. She is passionate about, and uniquely skilled at, unlocking brand value to drive record-setting growth.
Shannon is currently the EVP, CMO for Fiserv, Inc. where she leads brand strategy and execution, corporate communications, market research and marketing technology. Prior to Fiserv, Shannon was the Global CMO of Jordan Brand at Nike and Chief Brand and Marketing Officer of Aflac. Prior to Aflac, Shannon worked at the Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods, ConAgra Foods, and Procter and Gamble.
Shannon’s recognition within the industry includes being named one of Adweek’s Most Powerful Women in Sports; one of Diversity Woman Magazine’s Elite 100; and member of Black Executive CMO Alliance. Shannon is an award-winning executive producer and winner of a Clio and a Cannes Lion.
Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree from Fisk University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
