Biography

Yang Zhang serves as the Chief Marketing Officer of the Brand Management Department at Yili Group., Asia’s leading dairy brand with a global presence exceeding $22B. A transformative leader, he has spearheaded high-impact campaigns such as the Olympics and World Cup, significantly elevating Yili’s brand equity and market share worldwide. Responsible for the company’s global brand strategy, Yang designed and implemented a comprehensive parent-subsidiary brand structure, covering all product categories, consumer segments, and regions to drive business growth. Before this, as Senior Marketing Director, he managed 13 brands generating over $14B in revenue and led pioneering innovations. Previously at P&G, he led the successful launch of Rejoice’s aloe vera variant, driving a 25% sales surge. With deep expertise in global brand management, strategic planning, and scaling FMCG brands, Yang continues to shape the future of brand leadership. He holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Tsinghua University.
