Biography
Allison Apperson, Associate Creative Director (Art Direction) at The Martin Agency, is part of the dynamic duo behind the award-winning Solo Stove x Snoop Dogg campaign. With a background as a NASCAR photo editor, Allison’s hunger for mental stimulation led her to the VCU Brandcenter and then to Arnold Boston, where she worked on campaigns for Jack Daniel’s and Hardee’s.
Since joining Martin in 2019, she’s made waves with activations like Buffalo Wild Wing’s “Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony” (convincing hip-hop legends to promote boneless wings) and “The Moist Tie-Lette” (a Father’s Day accessory made entirely of B-Dub’s wet naps). Her involvement in the Solo Stove brief resulted in the simple and powerful “Solo Stove + Snoop” activation that broke the internet multiple times. Allison’s humor-infused work extends to GEICO and DoorDash. And outside of advertising, she’s a musician with an upcoming “Dad Rock” album on the way.
