Biography

Pelle Sjoenell is the Worldwide CCO of Droga5. Previously, he served as the first-ever CCO at Activision Blizzard, where his role was specifically designed to drive marketing innovation and creativity across the world’s most successful entertainment gaming franchises, including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, and Candy Crush. Prior to that, he was Worldwide CCO at BBH, Sjoenell oversaw the firm’s creative efforts across its seven offices on behalf of some of the world’s most renowned brands, including Google, Nike, Samsung, Audi, E! and T-Mobile. Sjoenell is a passionate advocate for gender equality. He served on the advisory council for The Women in Public Service Project, a global initiative at the Wilson Centre in Washington, DC which mobilizes young women on issues of critical importance in public service. He also works with the Creative Alliance to address gender equality and justice around the world.
