Biography

Thamakorn Ruchakityanon, previously used name Kusuma, known as a female Creative leader in SOUR Bangkok, the first independent agency in Thailand to penetrate the women’s market that has just been awarded Independent Agency of The Year in Asia Pacific Advertising Festival 2021 (ADFEST) and Southeast Asia Boutique Agency of the Year for 4 consecutive years (2018-2021). She has a key role in bringing SOUR to become one of top 5 agencies in Thailand by The Work Campaign Brief Asia 2021 and 2022.

Previously, Thamakorn served as the renowned Creative Director at BBDO Bangkok, and J. Walter Thompson is now Wunderman Thompson. She was picked up to join BBDO Female Creative Leadership in 2018. Her works are highly recognized by Thai consumers, local and international stage. Along the way, she developed many keystone projects including “The missing look alike” campaign for Mirror foundation, NO.1 Thailand hashtag trending and “Doikham - Overcome the taste with benefits”, a talk of the town campaign. She has won over 30 international and local awards all round, getting her recognized and won a place as one of the juries at the Thailand Adman Awards 2018-2023, Bangkok Art Directors’ Association Award 2018, and International Award like Gerety Awards, Ciclope Festival, Cannes Lion Jury in 2022 Spike Asia in 2023 and LIA 2023.

Thamakorn takes her role as a Creative Director at SOUR Bangkok. She owns the most highly quality and most-followed that became Talk of the town ‘Thailand Virtual Influencer’ name ‘Katii’ who appears on top International fashion magazine covers. The Virtual Influencer became the new business model that moved the advertising industry into the metaverse era. The combination of her passions and proven performance, having Thamakorn is a strong move that can lead local campaigns success into the international stage. Her motto is “work hard, and explore harder” with half her time spent at work and another half spent on trying new experience, making her obtain great a perspective of Gen Z.
