Holding one of the most engaged and excitable audiences of the day, the leading mentalist and illusionist, Keith Barry executed a series of mind-reading experiments, live on stage with audience participants. The intention of the talk was to demonstrate the power of mentalism in marketing; how to better understand customers to achieve better results i.e. getting them to buy your product.
MemBrain’s Ken Hertz opened on the integration of hypnotism in advertising (two subjects which aren’t too dissimilar in nature), with Barry describing how together, award-winning ad campaigns can be created.
The formula? Be funny, be inspiring, transform clever information into something amazing and hold onto the power of human relationships in this tech-obsessed world – therein lies the power. There were no stats or information-heavy slides; the punch of this talk was in the performance, resulting in Barry’s standing ovation. The entire session was stimulating, immersive and memorable.
