The Young Marketers Academy offers 30 select places to professional marketers aged 30 years or under. This year, the Young Marketers Academy brings an exciting collaboration with Dentsu Aegis Network’s Craft Matters Creative Hack – an intensive five-day workshop that offers an unrivalled opportunity to learn from the CMOs of the world’s biggest brands, award-winning creatives and the world’s biggest tech companies in an intimate classroom setting.

As an Academy participant, you will be inspired by a program of content that will include Cannes Lions seminars, exclusive classroom lectures from industry legends, a visit to the jury room, guided tours of the awards exhibition, exciting guest speakers and peer-to-peer learning. Through a series of workshops and exclusive experiences, you will encounter the latest innovations and thought leadership from Google, Facebook, Tencent, alongside CMOs of the world’s biggest brands and award-winning creatives.

This is a unique experience curated by former P&G executives who have walked in your shoes and are now Cannes Lions veterans.

Since it launched in 2011, over 300 marketers stars from companies like Google, S.C. Johnson, Red Bull, Dell, Estee Lauder, P&G, Unilever, Kraft Heinz, Ülker, and many more have taken their seat in the most creative training programme in the industry.

Jim is the former Global Marketing Officer of $84 billion Procter & Gamble, where he oversaw an $8 billion advertising budget and had organisational responsibility for nearly 7,000 people. P&G sales doubled during Jim’s tenure as GMO. Highly regarded, his leadership was recognized in 2008 when P&G was honored as the 2008 Cannes International Advertising Festival Advertiser of the Year for the first time in company history.

Now President/CEO of The Jim Stengel Company, Jim runs a think tank and consultancy conducting proprietary research, generating thought leadership and applying a new ideals-driven framework to drive business growth in today’s global economy.

He is also an author and his latest book Unleashing The Innovators : How Mature Companies Find New Life with Startups which explores how legacy companies can renew themselves: by acquiring new technology and creating new business lines relearning the need for speed; sparking innovation; and learning from failures.

Suzanne Tosolini

Suzanne spent 18 years working in Brand Management at P&G, developing long-term strategies with fresh approaches to brand building. She was promoted to Director after only 8 years with P&G.

In 2008 Suzanne took a risk and left the her global P&G role for a venture-backed, mobile-driven startup. There, she brought consumer and CPG strategy understanding into the technology world. This led her to join the Jim Stengel Company in 2009 where she has worked across industries - from luxury goods, beauty and apparel to technology, automotive, and finance.

Since 2011, Suzanne has led a 6-day Creative Academy for 60 Young Marketers at the Cannes Festival of Creativity. In 2013 she helped develop the first Jim Stengel CMO Accelerator Program at Cannes, designed to inspire and teach marketing leaders to achieve success with their brands and organizations.

With only 30 places available, space is limited and delegates must be aged 30 years or under, working for a client marketer company with experience writing creative briefs and working with agencies. Those with one to two years' experience will thrive at the Young Marketers Academy.
