Biography

Rafael is co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of 404 Design & Innovation. With numerous global accolades in the advertising industry—including Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, El Ojo, and D&AD—he was recognized by Forbes as one of the young talents set to transform the market through their prestigious 30Under30 list. Within its first year, 404 became one of Brazil's most awarded creative studios, partnering with bold, admirable brands like Netflix, Natura, and Google.

With a background in programming, Rafael's creative vision was shaped by the intersection of technology and storytelling. His pioneering spirit has consistently driven innovation across the industry, leaving an indelible mark on Brazil's creative landscape. As creative leader at New Content (now Accenture Interactive), Brazil's pioneering branded content company, he revolutionized digital storytelling approaches. During his seven-year tenure at SOKO (now Droga5) as founding copywriter and strategist and later as ECD, he transformed earned media campaigns in Brazil. Most recently, as partner and head of innovation at Galeria Ag, his creative leadership contributed to the agency's meteoric rise to become Brazil's second-largest agency in just two years.
