Biography
Russell Barrett is the Chief Creative Experience Officer of TBWA\India.
Russell kicked off his advertising journey in 1996 after a very brief yet illuminating stint as a journalist.
Over his 29-year career, he has worked on some of the most iconic brands in the world and launched several of them in the Indian market. He has won over 200 awards, including multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze Cannes Lions. He has also been recognised as one of the ten most awarded copywriters in the world and has served on several Indian and International juries.
Russell has been invited as a speaker, to conduct masterclasses and has been on panel discussions at various local and global forums. The highlight was being on stage in Cannes with other country heads of his agency, talking about what it takes to make global ideas travel.
In his current role, Russell is focused on crafting holistic experiences for brands to tell the most compelling stories they can across as many touchpoints as possible.
