Biography
Vinod Savio defies the traditional path into advertising. With a background in physics, maths, and electronics, as well as experience as a banker and farmer, he began his career in Bangalore, ventured into Mumbai, and ultimately made Singapore his home.
Today, as the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at DDB Group Singapore, Vinod is a beacon of innovation, guiding the agency with nearly two decades' worth of industry wisdom. His work with powerhouse brands like Google, McDonald's, Unilever, and Johnson & Johnson has not only earned him a plethora of awards such as Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, Effies, and Spikes Asia, but in 2023, it also earned him the title of one of Singapore's most awarded creative directors.
Vinod's unconventional background shapes his belief that emotions, not rationality, drive decision-making. He masterfully intertwines culture, data, and media to craft authentic and relatable brand stories. With a keen eye on emerging trends in social media, gaming, and artificial intelligence, Vinod consistently pushes creative boundaries.
