If women aren’t shaping AI, AI will reshape the world without them. Women are not just a “diversity topic” but decision-makers, architects, and powerholders in the AI era. Women are among the most affected by AI-driven systems – from hiring and healthcare to advertising, safety and online visibility. Yet they remain dramatically underrepresented among those designing, training and governing AI. This session confronts the cost of building technologies about women without women in the room.
