ROUNDTABLE: What’s Keeping LATAM’s Creatives and Marketers Up at Night?

Wednesday 24 June, 10:45–11:45

Duration: 1 hour
Location: The Terrace, The Palais

Description:

Join Latin America's biggest industry legends for a high-energy hour of bold ideas and real talk. Dive deep into the challenges and opportunities shaping the future for creatives and marketers across the region. Expect fresh thinking, powerful insights, and connections that matter. Celebrate the drive, creativity and unstoppable momentum of one of the world’s most exciting regions.

Questions this session will answer:

  • For most of our industry’s history, creativity was the central source of value. Today the conversation is increasingly shaped by efficiency, integration, automation, procurement and optimisation. These shifts matter — but are we unintentionally reducing the influence of creativity inside the very industry built around it?
  • Latin America has repeatedly proven it can produce extraordinary creatives and globally recognised work. But producing talent and retaining talent are not the same thing. Why does the region create world-class talent yet struggle to build world-class creative ecosystems? And what conditions would make the next generation want to build their careers here?
  • For decades, agencies, networks, awards and industry institutions helped define creative excellence in LATAM. As those structures evolve, has the definition of excellence changed too? And in an increasingly Anglo-centric industry, who gets to set the bar for what world-class creativity looks like next?
